Hello! I was wondering if there is a way to increase the timeout limit for live links. After they’ve been active for several hours, the site starts to return a 404 error. If there is a way to adjust the limit for live links, it would be incredibly helpful for us.

We don’t have a way to extend the connection limit at this time. However, if you need to keep the site up for a longer period of time there are a few other options:

Some hosts like Flywheel offer a free Demo site you could spin up and move your Local site there. Demo Site

You could have whoever you are sharing the site with download Local, and then give them a copy of the site to import themselves. Import/Export a WordPress Site - Local

If you eventually plan to host the site somewhere, you could move it to the host but enable privacy mode or a maintenance mode page until it’s ready for the public and then have any users who need to check it out view it from the WordPress Admin.
