Live Links 404

Issue Summary

I have enabled Live Links but when I try to access the link, I get a blank page with 404.

Troubleshooting Questions

I currently only have one site in Local.

The site is running, loads fine on my local machine, Live Link is enabled and I am logged into the Local Hub where I see that Live Links are now unlocked.

We do use a local firewall which may be blocking incoming connections. If this may be an issue, can you give me an idea on what rule I would need to add to allow this connection?

Hi @yourbudweiser - I think you are correct that the firewall is likely the issue here. Your router logs are showing this:

2022/10/13 11:04:51 [emerg] 10060#13516: bind() to 0.0.0.0:80 failed (10013: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions)
2022/10/14 11:02:20 [crit] 22192#7748: *51 SSL_write() failed (10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine) while sending to client, client: 127.0.0.1, server: pff.local, request: "GET / HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://127.0.0.1:10005/", host: "pff.local", referrer: "https://pff.local/"

I’m not sure what rule you would need to add specifically. Are you or someone in your organization able to access settings for the firewall to see if Local can be allow listed?

Is it Local that needs to be whitelisted or some IP address?

Is this the firewall of Windows Defender?

This help article may provide some more details about what ports Local makes use of:

I’m not very familiar with Windows Defender, but I found this article that may help you as well:
