Local 6.1.0 defect: Site shows green "running" state when the site is not actually running

Issue Summary

Local 6.1.0 + 5452 software defect: Site shows green “running” state, when the site is not actually running, as evidenced by the existence of the START SITE green button, showing "Last started on [yesterday’s date] and a 502 red Request Error page when you navigate to any site URL. See screenshot:

Troubleshooting Questions

• Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? YES

• Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? YES. I get a “Hello World” page for the new, plain WP site after creating it in Local and accessing it in a Browser.

1. Create a site in Local
2. Shutdown Mac > normal macOS shutdown process occurs
3. Startup Mac.
4. In Local, site shows green “running” state when the site is not actually running

System Details

• Which version of Local is being used? 6.1.0 + 5452

• What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

  • macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, 16 GB memory installed. 1 TB SSD w 344 GB available

• Attach the Local Log. See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:

@bobwarrick I think you’ve been hit with the same issue as a few of us, related to cloning, as mentioned here: Local shows sites running upon opening the app even when I didn't start them

There is a way to fix it, if you want to get crazy and edit json files directly (back 'em up first!), but it might be safer to wait for an official fix.

@burt Although I am not adverse to editing json files, I will wait for an official fix to this Local 6.1.0 defect.
