Local 6.4.0 won't open

Desperate for some help! I’m a complete beginner and have tried several times to download the most recent version of Local onto my Windows 10 laptop. Each time I try to open it nothing happens but the task manager says it’s running… I then do a full uninstall it (including deleting the local folder under AppData).

After reading through some of the topics here I came across the suggestion to install an older version 5.6.10. That worked perfectly until I updated it. So since then, I’ve tried a few of the older releases and it seems they all work up to version 6.0

Does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong?
