hello , I use localwp for test wordpress site , I install on chromebook , when i try to add local website , give nothing in final link , error : local is requesting administrative privileges to modify your etc/hosts

I’ve never tried running Local on a Chromebook, but that’s cool that you were able to get it to install.
Can you please provide your Local Log? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:
At the heart of the problem is that you need to zero in on exactly why Local can’t edit the hosts file. If I were to guess, it probably has to do with Local not knowing how to ask for elevated privileges under a Chromebook.

For some reason, when installing WordPress, Local isn’t able to finish downloading the WordPress archive in time.
This might be a limitation of the chromebook. Are you able to manually download the WordPress zip?
And afeter download file, what should i do with the file

I’m not really sure what to do about that error. This may be one of the reasons that Local can’t run on a Chromebook.
