Install debian on chromebook

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I ve just setup wp local on my chromebook then launched a new install and fall on this message for the both : WP admin and open site : “CE SITE EST INACESSIBLE” from this link : http://capstudio.local/ on chrmoe browser…

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Were you able to download Local and get it to open?

Does it give you the same error in the browser when you start now? Or something else?

Are you utilizing a VPN? Or are you on a work/office network?

If you change your Router Mode to Localhost are you able to proceed? Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode>Localhost

Yes when I change your Router Mode to Localhost it s running perfectly ! BINGO 1000 THX

Localhost has a couple of limitations but should work well for you for the most part. Usually if this mode works but Site Domains doesn’t it means something on your machine/network is getting in the way of Local. More details on the article below if you ever want to try and troubleshoot that further, but you’re fine to use Localhost for now or as long as you need!
