There are a couple of minor things that were broken with Big Sur, but those have mostly been fixed and most people that are using the new M1 macs don’t have any issues:
Issue Summary
SSL certificates not being created. The process goes normally and I get asked for password on macos to generate the certificate.
After that it does not change. If I stop and start the website it shows as “trusted” but the certificate is not really added.

I was wondering if Local was running correctly on the new Apple M1 chip ? Has anyone stumbled upon compatibility issues ?
A user mentioned problems linked to the Big Sur update but nothing about the new chip.
I didn’t find any feedback on Google so I figured I would ask the community directly.
Thank you guys.
Marie.
Now that Apple has started taking orders for the first Apple Silicon Macs, I’m wondering where support for these Macs stands in Local. I imagine that the basic app can work even under Rossetta 2, but also know that Local relies on PHP, nginx, and other packages, so I’m just curious where support for this new architecture of Mac is right now, and will be in a few weeks.
