Menus are not imported

Hi,

here is my problem: when exporting/importing with the Wordpress tools, menus are not imported.

I had first the problem with importing OceanWP demo contents (with their demo import plug-in or with the classic Wordpress method).

I tried then between 2 bare and identical sites (WP 4.7.4, Nginx, MySQL 5.6.34, TwentySeventeen, no plugins), one with a single menu of 3 empty pages, one without those pages and menu.
I exported “All content” in the first one and then imported it in the second one: pages were imported, not the menu.

I am a Wordpress newbie and i may have missed something obvious, thanks for your help :slight_smile:

My configuration:
OS X 10.11.6
Local 1.4.2

as no one has ever responded, i’ll respond to myself :wink:

I have found the source of the problem and a solution to it, thanks to that ticket on “Make WordPress Core”.

Now, with that correction in the .php file of the “Wordpress Importer” plugin, the menus are correctly imported in my PHP7 sites.

My configuration:
OS X 10.11.6
Local 2.0.4

Correction on my configuration:
i use currently the 2.0.1 version not the 2.0.4.
I had no luck in updating from 2.0.1 to 2.0.4…
