MySQL 8 support?

Hi, I’ve seen a couple of threads here regarding MySQL 8 but wanted to ask when this might be officially supported by Local? I understand it’s on the roadmap but wanted to know how soon this might make it into the software?

Now that it’s been out over a year, I’m considering updating my live server to MySQL 8 because of performance benefits and concerned about issues running a different version with Local.

The Local beta uses MySQL 8 as a default.

Ah, great to hear. I just learned about Local Lightning as I’d been out of the loop so will give that a go. Thanks!
