Update MySQL variables for a particular project

I tried updating ~/LocalSites/PROJECT/conf/mysql/my.cnf.hbs but this doesn’t seem to have any effect.

I am trying to increase thread_stack

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Happens for all sites

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Yes

Replication

  1. Edit respective project mysql config template → ~/LocalSites/PROJECT/conf/mysql/my.cnf.hbs
  2. Restart
  3. There seems no change in mysql variable that we just set in #1

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    5.9.0+4961. This was happening from first day I installed this version

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Ubuntu 20.04.1
