Need assistance with installing Local properly

I get the following fix message. When I click on it I get the error message as seen in the image.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? I can’t even get started with Local so I am not sure.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? Nope

Replication

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!
I have a FIX issue banner at the top and when I click on it I am ask if this program can make changes to the system. I ok that the error message pops up that you see in the screenshot. I have tried to turn off antivirus but that does seem to help either. When I attempt to log into WP admin it is just a blank white page.

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used? Windows 10

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
