Need help installing GIT

HI there, I am trying to use Versionpress and if I were to SSH into the VM and do an apt-get install of Git, I am not able to start any site. I keep getting the error that the “version.php file doesn’t exist”.

Has anyone else had success with this? Can you tell me what I am missing?

Git is a package installed on the VM, so the error you noted about “version.php file doesn’t exist” might not be related to any of this. I was able to install Git successfully, and activated Versionpress.
