Open site with https when SSL is enabled

It would be nice if, when the SSL cert has been trusted, the Admin and View Site buttons opened the site using https.

I just came across this issue too. Not a biggie but it’s a minor annoyance to have to manually set the site protocol to https once the site cert has been trusted and you click on either Admin or View Site buttons.

It might be nice to have an option for each site to open via http or https, and if the site SSL cert is set then this could be set to https for convenience.

This should be simple enough to implement to be added asap and ship with the next release. @clay would you folks please consider adding it?

Bug Summary The WP-admin and the Open Site button opens the site in question only via http not https, even though a SSL is set and the cert is trusted in OS X. You CAN change the protocol manually. Once changing the home and siteurl options in the db manually. I can use the WP-admin to force the site via https but not the Open Site button/link. This is both for existing and NEW sites.
