Plugin Update Error

We are seeing the following behavior with some plugin updates:

Updating Plugin Ninja Forms - Conditional Logic (1/1)

Downloading update from https://ninjaforms.com/[REDACTED]…

Unpacking the update…

An error occurred while updating Ninja Forms - Conditional Logic: Could not create directory. ninja-forms-conditionals/deprecated/includes/admin/upgrades

We’re running Local on a Windows 10 environment, plenty of disk space, and no other issues related to permissions. We tried to specifically set higher permissions on the deprecated folder in this case to no avail. Not sure why this is occurring. We’re able to update the plugin manually however.

Please review and advise. Thanks.

Hi @goxmedia,

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Are you running the Local 2.0.7 pre-release by chance?

We’re running local-by-flywheel-2-0-6-windows

Unfortunately, in that case I’m not exactly sure what’s going on here. Windows permissions shouldn’t matter.

If this happens to you again, be sure to report it here so we can gather more information and get to the bottom of this.

I wish I had a better answer for you!

It happens every time we try and update that particular plugin which is trying to create an additional sub-directory as part of its upgrade process (as you can see above.
