Recent issue with local Site Hosts switching from xxx.local to localhost:10029

What issue or error are you experiencing?

After months of working fine with *.localhost Site Hosts and trusted SSL certs, I now get the same issue as Local keeps resetting .local domain to localhost:10029 - #2 by clay

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

This happens after you manually change your Router Mode to Site Domains under Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously?

It ‘was’ switched to Router mode so I switched it back.. but now I get

and clicking Fix It did nothing.. but the I rebooted and it now works. I assume a MacOS upgrade muffed things up.. thanks!

Nice! Thank you for letting us know @g_dub! :green_heart:

Zamieniłem “site host” na inną domenę i strona przestałą działać. Później przełączyłem z powrotem na poprzednią nazwę. Teraz wyświetla się błąd na stronie.
