Refresh site list for new sites

What issue or error are you experiencing?

If I create a new site in Local, the site detail correctly appears in the right panel of the Local UI. The site creates fine and I can login to the site.

However, the list of sites doesn’t auto-refresh so the new site is missing from the list. I can’t find a way to refresh the list of sites.

If I Stop All Sites and reload Local, the sites list is repopulated with the missing sites. For instance, this morning Local showed 9 sites but after a close / reload, the actual number is 12.

Changing the site sort order, theme, hiding the site list - none of them refresh the site list. Not sure why the list isn’t refreshed but could a refresh button be added next to the sort icon?

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

System Details

  • Local Version: 10.1.1+6939

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version: Windows 11 Pro (25H2)

Hi @SuperSix!

I just tested on Windows and MacOS and couldn’t replicate this behavior but maybe I’m not understanding it fully. Could you create a video using something like Loom or similar and share here? Or some screenshots? If you’d prefer to share in a DM as well we can do that.

Hi Nick,

Will see if I re-create but I do have a couple of static screenshots. I had to exclude the site names for security but this is the list of all the sites in Local in the left section of the main Local UI.

However, there are actually 10 sites setup in Local, so 2 don’t show (even if they are started). The only way I can find to refresh the sites list is to close Local and reload.

Can you share a full Local Log with us? We can check and see if there are any errors that stand out in there.
