Server Error (500 error)

Issue Summary

Everything was perfect for around one month of using Local until this afternoon. I tried to publish one page, however, it shows "Server Error (500 error). No modifications to this page can be made and published. I have tried to edit another page, it is okay, and I can publish successfully.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    It happens to only this single page of this site.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi, thanks for your kind help. I managed to solve this by changing the PHP memory limit to 1024M.
