"Show Folder" does not work

“Show Folder” does not work - no reaction at all. (Has worked in the past)
… “Open Site Shell” works

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    All sites, started and stopped.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Yes

Replication

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

  1. Click with right mouse button on Site
  2. in context menu click on “Show folder”

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    5.9.4

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Windows 10 Home - 1909

  • Attach the Local Log. See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:

We’ve been able to zero in on what’s going on and should have a fix available soon!

I just singed up to note that SHOW FOLDER is still not working. It was working before but I updated to the latest version today and now that no longer works.

In the mean time, could someone please remind me where local stores its site folders on a Windows machine.

You’re right that the “Show Folder” link isn’t working when right-clicking, but you should be able to get to those files by click the little “circle with arrow” button to the right of the file path. See this reply for a screenshot:

To your specific question of where this is on Windows:

By default, Local stores the sites directly under your user’s home folder, in a folder called Local Sites.
