I see. So, to try out the new (supposedly lightning fast) version of LbF you need to be on Twitter. What’s going on here? Why do I need to be on Twitter? I’m not and I never will be. I’m also not on Facebook, and I never will be.
This ‘forcing’ on some social media channel by LbF gives me a really bad smell. A smell so bad, I want to avoid it.
I agree.
The place to share in development projects is on the community forum, not fickle social media platforms. I also do not participate is social media and request a download link to try the application, that is to say, if you developers might perhaps have the time to break away from social media and notice posts like these.

Well, I was on twitter, and sent a PM 3 weeks ago to get the link to download Lightning and until now, no one even acknowledge my existence. so maybe you’re right by avoiding it because it’s useless anyway
I’m sorry that you feel like we’re forcing modes of communication, that’s not been our intention. We try to respond to users in whatever way they reach out to us, but sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all of the incoming requests.
If you’d like access to the Private Beta, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!
