Issue Summary

I get this error in a browser when I click WP admin button in Local: sorry, you are not allowed to preview drafts

I have this error with a fixit button in Local: this site’s Wordpress url settings do not match the host set in local, but the fixit button doesn’t work.

I open the iis landing page when I click the open site button in Local

I got this response to a WP site URL query: http://sawf.local/?preview_id_81&preview_nonce-4efe37fd67&preview=true

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Only have one site
  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Can you create a new, blank site and see if that works normally?

Could you also drop a copy of your Local Logs for us to look at? Retrieving Local’s Log File
