Special characters in folder name not supported on Windows

Bug Summary

When i create a new site, i receive an error message for mysql install/
"Uh-oh! Unable to start site.
Error: Commande failed:

error: ‘Can’t connect to MySQL server on ‘127.0.0.1’ (10061)’
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: ‘MySQL’ exists!

I can’t change my user folder’s name as i’m on AzureAD for authentication, so the user folder is automatically created with the name of the user in Azure.

This has been a long-standing bug here:

I’m not sure if there any workarounds if AzureAD is forcing the user. Are you able to edit the user folders at all?
