Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @coreyallen

Are you trying to create a backup or restore a backup here?

Create, here’s the error message on the front end Zight 2024-11-05 at 3.29.22 PM

Is this your first time creating a backup with Dropbox or has this worked normally before?

What’s your OS/OS version? Local version?

I’ve made backups many times before but haven’t done so in a couple months. I"m running Mac OS 15.1 and local Version 9.1.0+6719

Have you tried disconnecting your Dropbox and then connecting it again? If not give these steps a go:

  • Disconnect your Dropbox account in Local Hub
  • Log out of Local
  • Quit Local
  • Open Local back up
  • Reconnect Drop Box
