Stopped site still indicates it's running

Issue Summary

One of my sites continues to have a green dot after it has been stopped and Local includes it in the “sites running” count. I can clear the green dot and the counter by right-clicking the site in the site directory panel and choosing stop. However, if I then stop Local and restart it, the dot returns with the site still stopped.

Troubleshooting Questions

Is there a settings or config file somewhere that I could edit to get rid of this behavior?

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    Started happening in 5.X. Still happening in 6.0

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • macOS Big Sur

Is the site a cloned site perhaps?

Yes, I think this is a cloned site. I do have the same issue of “Local shows sites running upon opening the app even when I didn’t start them” – although in my case it’s only one site.
