Storing Local site folders alongside Trellis site folders inside the Sites folder probably leads to Local hanging on the "Starting Local Machine” screen

Hi I am running Local Version 2.0.6 (2.0.6) on OSX 10.11.6 with all the latest patches applied. I have all my WordPress site folders inside the Sites folder inside the user directory. There I have folders containing WordPress sites hosted by Local as well as folders containing Trellis WordPress installs. When I start up Local I am still getting the “Starting Local Machine” hang on first start up; after entering the admin password the Starting screen hangs forever. But after a restart the available installations to startup are visible immediately. When I’ve looked inside the console log file I’ve noticed errors and unhandled rejections containing paths related to Trellis like:
