Stuck in "Checking System"

Today I’ve updated my Local by Flywheel on my Mac, but it’s totally stuck on “Checking System” status.

  • macOS Hogh Sierra version 10.13.6

Please help me, I’m building a website for a client and I’m reaching my deadline to deliver it.

This happened to me, and I just quit Local, and re-opened it, and it was fixed. You may have tried this already, but I thought I’d suggest it just in case!
