Support for gRPC PHP Extension

What issue or error are you experiencing?

Hello,
I am developing a plugin that requires the gRPC PHP extension (Google Cloud PHP SDK). Is there a way to install additional PHP extensions on macOS or is this still restricted by macOS security features?

I found a couple guides in the forum from 2017, but this most recent post from 2020 states these guides aren’t applicable to newer versions of macOS due to new security features around “unsigned PHP binaries”. This post from 2023 states the same.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We don’t have any walkthroughs or documentation to provide for that specifically. That isn’t to say it’s not possible, but you might have to do some checking around the web for a tutorial. The content of that 2023 post would still be accurate for now but I’ve changed your post to a Feature Request so others can vote, comment or follow along here. That way we can gauge interest for this or similar items.
