I love the concept of this app. It’s great to use if you’re a freelancer Wordpress developer and you don’t want the hassle of setting up complicated VMs.
The issue I’m having is integrating it into my dev team’s workflow. If we all want to work from the same codebase, this isn’t currently possible on the current version (2.0.6).
What I’d like to see implemented:
- The ability to build a new site on top of an existing folder structure. Right now, if I create a git repository and try to build a site over the clone folder, it’s going to fail. This is the main blocker to adoption for us.
- The ability to share (and maybe even edit) blueprints within a team.
- It would be great to choose or manually install additional PHP extensions through the app and share those through the blueprint.
I wouldn’t want to ask too much but even the first change would see greater adoption in the dev space.
