Unable to open Wordpress

Flywheel installation on Windows PC version 10 - installation fine but when I try to open Wordpress using admin or view site it comes up with “site not found”. I did have Wamp installed, I uninstalled it, rebooted no luck.

Hi Dave,

Sorry for the trouble!

Do you have an error on the site that says “Missing Hosts Entry”?

Also, can you please send the log for for Local? You can find it by clicking on the three dots in the top-right then going to Reveal Local’s Log.

Hi Clay sorry I did not answer your question, I do not get “Missing Host Entry” I get http://davidmills.dev/wp-admin for selecting “admin” replies “can’t reach this page”.

I’m having this same issue.

I have the same issue. In my case, port 80 & 443 are not bound to the container. MySQL bound fine but the apache/nginx containers don’t. They did bind to different ports (4001 & 4501) but since the site thinks it is on 80, it redirects to never-never land.

Hi Robert,

There’s a “router” container that handles the traffic from port 80/443 to the site containers running on non-80/443 ports.

If you try stopping all of your sites and then starting one site back up does the issue go away?

I was only running a single site at the time but I may have had IIS running on the host machine also.

I’ll try running the site again and make sure IIS is not active. (Though since it was pointing to the container VM, that shouldn’t have mattered)
