Unable to Provision Site on Windows 11

Issue Summary

I have 11 sites on Local. When I tried to add a new site I received the following error
Uh-oh! Unable to provision site.
Error: Error: Command failed: F:\LocalDevelopment\resources\extraResources\lightning-services\mysql-8.0.16\bin.…\mysql.exe-e CREATE DATABASE local;
Error 1007(HY000) at line1: Can’t create database’local’; database exists

at ChildProcess.exithandler (child_process.js.317:12)
at ChildProcess.emit (events.js:315:20)
at maybeClose (internal/child_process.js: 1048:16)
at Process.ChildProcess._handle.oneexit (internal/child_process.js:288:5)

I am using Local-6.2.0-windows and Windows 11

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional

I’m having this exact problem, also on windows 11. It began after update to most recent local version
