Using Local by Flywheel for simple php development

I would like how i can use the local by flywheel for simple development such as php and using mysql also, is this really possible i believe it should be since the wordpress is also php, and also is there a way i can view my database and want to make change in the database either by phpmyadmin or inside the local, i am just trying the local by flywheel out and i would love to use it more.

Once you create a site in Local you can access the database by going to the Database tab for the site in Local and clicking either “Adminer” (opens in your web browser) or “Sequel Pro” (opens in Sequel Pro app if you have it installed.)
