Website corrupted when opened with Localhost app

Local app was working fine until yesterday. Now, when I “Open site” the website on my browser is totally corrupted and when I “Open site shell” it reports that it can not find the php_imagick.dll file. I uninstalled the local software and reinstalled it (ver. 6.4.3+6116) but have the same results. Any help, advise etc. would be most welcome.

Hi there @farsoft -

Have you taken a look at this thread RE: php_imagick.dll?

Let me know if this supports you!

Hi @sammunoz,

Many thanks for the prompt response, I’ll take a look over the weekend and revert with update.

Hi @sammunoz,
Unfortunately, nothing has worked for me. I checked that the php_imagick.dll file that “could not be found” (according to the site shell) was actually contained at the specified destination address Ok.
I downloaded a “PhpService.js” file that “dieterv” had provided as a fix for this issue and now when I try to open the site from Local the error message “Error establishing a database connection” appears. So, now I have another issue to solve?
So again, many thanks for all the help and if you have any ideas on where to start with my new problem; I would be grateful for any guidance.

Hi @farsoft -

Thanks for that extra context.

Are you able to provide your Local logs so we can dig into the issue further?

You can download those using the following steps:

Hi @Sam,

Many thanks for sticking with me on this problem.

I’ll download the local logs this evening and get them to you.

Hi Sam,

Just one additional point I noticed. When I was developing the wordpress website the Local software was using “localhost:10004” now it appears to be using “localhost:10009”. I did telnet port 10009 at the weekend and it was open.

Not sure if that complicates things or has any relevance!

Pat Farrelly,

Hi Sam,

I assume that you have had no success with the RFCT-WP website access.

I have been working on a new edition of the site “RFCT-IE” in local. It was nearly ready and I changed from http:/ to https:// in the /Dashboard/Settings/General, configurations and now I can not open the site.

The browser returns this screen:

And the local host screen flags an issue with the site but cannot fix the problem.

Can you please advise if there is any way back to http://

Pat Farrelly,

Hi Sam,

Please ignore this latest request; I managed to access the database and change the url back to http://
