Website URL's not being updated after pushing to WP Engine

Issue Summary

When pushing to WP Engine instead of updating the url to sitename.wpengine.com, the site url remains http://localhost:XXXXX

I tried manually changing the url in the wp_options table and the site will use the correct URL but the url of all images use locahost.

Troubleshooting Questions

Making new sites in local has no issues, trying to push the same site to WP engine multiple times doesn’t make any difference.

Replication

Push site to WP engine, check site url under wp_options table.
