Are both of the sites using the same theme? Do they also have the same configuration as far as WP/PHP/server?

Yes, the only difference is about the child theme. On the site that doesn’t give problems the latest version is not installed. WP: 6.8.1 Web server: nginx PHP: 8.1.29 MySQL 8.0.16

Could you try using a default WordPress theme as a test and see if the problem persists?
