Blank WordPress add plugins page on nginx

When I click the add new link under plugins in WordPress a blank plugin-install.php page opens up. After changing the Web Server to Apache everthing works fine.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?

    • Yes it happens on all sites.

  • How did you figure out that nginx was causing the problem?

    • I changed the web server from nginx to Apache.

Replication

I am using PHP 8, MySQL 8.0.16, WordPress 5.7.2, and nginx. The add new plugins page is showing up blank.

  • Which version of Local is being used?

    • I am using Local version 5.10.5+5403

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Pop_OS! 20.04 LTS
