Wordpress Site Health Status: 2 Critical issues and 3 Recommended improvements

Hi.
I just installed local flywheel and wordpress with ssl. When doing some basic setup for wordpress and checking the site health i got 2 critical issues and 3 recomended improvments:

2 critical issues:

  1. The Rest API encountred an error:
    The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate

  1. your site could not complete a loopback request:
    Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.

Does somebody experienced this issue when just installed wordpress?.
i was using laragon and installed wordpress and i had the same problems concerning the site health. how could be that?
i decided to go with flywheel because flywheel is only dedicated to wordpress environement. but i have the same issues.

This sort of issue with curl and SSL certificates is tricky to replicate, can you help us zero in on what’s going on?

  • What version of Local are you using?
  • What Operating System and OS version is being used?
  • Can you please provide your Local Log? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:
  • How exactly is this site being set up with SSL? Can you walk me through the exact steps so I can better replicate?

I am getting the same 2 critical errors on both of my local sites. Has there been any fixes for this?
