I noticed that the WordPress version area keeps loading with 3 dots and I’ve not been able to get to my admin and open site after I start the site. What can I do to resolve this?
Welcome to the forums @ekeopre !
That usually means that Local is having issues communicating with the WordPress site. Can you give a bit more detail about the machine that Local is running on:
- What version of Local are you using?
- What Operating System and OS version is being used?
- Can you please provide your Local Log? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:
- Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one?
- Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site?

I’m having a similar issue. I’ve attempted to uninstall and reinstall with the current version and even an old version (6.0). Local was working fine before I updated it and now I can’t open the admin console for any site, old or new. I opened the inspect element on the admin button and there’s a bunch of errors within the console.
I can’t even use the open site button. I’m seeing the loading graphic for the wordpress version as well.
