What issue or error are you experiencing?

Hi there,

I have come across and old post of the exact same issue, however no more comments are allowed on it, so I thought I’d make a new one.

I have had Local on my laptop since a long while, and recently I tried adding a new site, for my new portfolio site, however when it gets to adding Wordpress, it keeps on loading and the process never ends.

I am aware I should share the local log file, I am going to attach it to this thread.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

  • What is your OS?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

Thanks for the response and please see below the answers to your queries:

  • My OS is Mac, Sonoma 14.2.1
  • The Local version on my machine is 8.2.1+6583
  • I am not running any other developer apps, neither IO have any other apps than Local to run Wordpress locally on my machine
