I setup Local to connect to my WpEngine site - Local and WP Engine Connect - Support Center. Worked fine and was able to view my site. But I have learned that this setup doesn’t work well with the way WpEngine does their git repositories. I need to keep my code versioned. I’d like to keep using Local, but use GitHub instead. How can I ‘divorce’ the current git repository that is pointing to the WpEngine git repos to instead use one in GitHub - so I can better manage my commits and have a much better user interface. I spent a few hours with WpEngines tech support and didn’t get very far, sigh.
