The Local team and I are gearing up for WP Engine’s annual DE{CODE} developers conference, which is next week!
If you’re not familiar with it, DE{CODE} is a WordPress developer conference put on every spring by WP Engine; it is 100% virtual and 100% free and a great way to meet other WordPress developers, see interesting keynotes, and learn something new.
The conference is on March 19 for users in the Americas and APAC and March 21 for users in EMEA. Full agendas are on the website so you can see what to expect, pick and choose what you’d like to attend - and if you can’t make it, recordings are always available after.
This year, I’m particularly excited for the keynote on Navigating our AI Future by Zack Kass, former Head of Go-To-Market at OpenAI. It will be a good one!
I just finished up my preparation for a talk I’m doing with Rob Stinson called Mastering modern site creation with the best workflows in WordPress where you’ll even get a sneak peek at some upcoming improvements to Local Connect with our Local v9.0 release.
I’d recommend checking it out - by attendance, this was the largest event in WordPress in 2023. Again, totally free and provided to anyone in the WordPress community who would like to attend. Hope to see some of you there!
