OK so my version of Local did NOT update automatically from 2.0.8 to 2.1.1 so I had to uninstall it and then do a fresh install of 2.1.1 . Thankfully my preferences were not deleted and I had 2 blueprints stored which I then used to create 2 new sites. Unfortunately, sites created from these blueprints are throwing 500 Internal Errors. Could this be caused by the blueprints having been created when it was .dev and now it’s .local? Any help would be really appreciated to help me get back to a working LOCAL install…

Please check the logs folder for the sites that are throwing the 500 errors. You should find clues in the nginx or PHP logs.
Hi metrosuperstar, I had the same problem, this has something to do with the .htaccess file. I followed the instruccions Clay wrote in this thread and it worked: 500 Internal Error.
