Can anyone please help me here?

hey @bensieg I am also on Mojave due to fear of some music programs getting fucked on updates. I found php version -7.3.5 worked after literally HOURS of trying to figure this out. just KEEP DOWNGRADING until you get it to work lol.

I literally almost cried with joy when I saw another fellow dev using mojave still LOL. we are too ancient. My new job just offered me a new m1 macbook and i can’t fucking wait to leave this mojave shit behind. I can’t even use mySQL workbench now either. No matter HOW MUCH I downgrade.

Same problem on Mojave 10.14.6. Will I be notified when a patch is available?

i need help .
The WP login page just keeps on waiting for a response when I enter my username and password. There are no errors in the console. Clearing the cache, restarts and using an incognito window doesn’t solve the problem. I created a new site and can’t get into the WP dashboard on that either.

plz use anydesk and resolve my problem

For issues related to Mojave specifically, this is expected since it’s an older OS. More details on the issue and possible workarounds here:

Where do I get the new Local v6.5.2; url please? And should I just reinstall?

You can find new and previous releases here:

When I open site i get 502 Bad Gateway on Local v6.6.0+6231 Am I suppose to download and install a previous Local v6.5.2?

Hi @kath You might have to open that link above to see the entire message. Users who must remain on macOS Mojave or lower can install Local v6.4.3

Thank you for you patience, Nick. All is well

Keep getting requests to update. Should I click update or download newer updates from the site?

Updating the os system to Catalina 10.15.7 would solve this issue, or I still would get the 502 Bad Gateway error when using PHP > 7.3.5?
I tried upgrading from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave 10.14.6 in order to solve (as suggested in this post) but nothing changes, and the router does not work anymore.

Hi @kath I would avoid updates until you’re able to update your OS.

Hi @gabrielsgsm Mojave still isn’t far enough, unfortunately. You can find out what MacOS versions have reached their end of life here:

If you need to download an older version of Local you can here: Releases - Local

Thank you, Nick. I tried downloading older versions of Local but that doesn’t seem to fix the issue.
If I get it right, checking the link you provided, even Catalina wouldn’t be enough. Right?

I checked with the team and Catalina should be fine for now. We haven’t seen any reported issues with it. We aren’t able to give any kind of ETA but just for transparency in the near future, it may run into similar issues as other updates are made and released. Just something to keep in mind if you do upgrade.
