502 Request Error - no connect could be made because the machine actively refused it

Issue Summary

Hi, I’ve tried to refresh and restart site and my computer as suggested, but it still doesn’t work. When I open local-logs> router-logs > Error, the latest information is

error] 1304#2424: *1 connect() failed (10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it) while connecting to upstream, client: ::1, server: cwmmcom.local, request: “POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “”, host: “cwmmcom.local”, referrer: “http://cwmmcom.local/wp-admin/

Also, the “Wordpress version” under overview section has been loading all the time, please see image below for details as I think it may trigger this error.

I don’t know how to fix it. Please help. Thank you.

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
