Issue Summary

All sites stuck on ‘starting’ or 502 Request Error when start.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?

All sites.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Yes.

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

At first I tried cloning a site, but it just got stuck on setting up and never completed the process. Tried starting three sites. They’re all either stuck on ‘starting’ or I got a 502 Request Error.

Tried switching to nginx. It didn’t fix the issue.

  • Which version of Local is being used?

At first v7.0.1, now v7.0.2+6395 (I upgraded to see if it would fix the issue–it didn’t)

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

MacOS 11.7.6 Big Sur

First Local Log from today:

Hi @RobS

Have you done any reboots of your Local app and machine yet to start?

If you change your Router Mode (Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode) does that make a difference?

same here after updating. And “WordPress version” stuck on loading.

there is no helpful information around so far. I’ve tried it all. Even reverting to 7.0.1 it’s stuck with the same behavior
