If you’re using Local and have encountered a problem, bug, or issue or simply have a question, you’ve come to the right place!

First, please try searching the forums for keywords related to your issue or error. There’s a chance that others have run into the same problem and you might find some troubleshooting steps or a solution without needing to create a new post.

We also have many public help docs available here

If you do create a new post, we ask that you please provide as much context and detail as possible to help us in your troubleshooting. At a minimum this should include the items listed here:

  • What issue or error are you experiencing?

  • What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

  • What is your OS?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • Please attach a copy of your Local Logs

Please remember that since Local is a popular and free product, we do not offer priority support (including virtual or phone support). We will try to assist with your issue as soon as possible, but troubleshooting and communication may take additional time as these forums are not monitored 24/7.
