Here is the rundown of the quirks of this Local app.
I have some sites on Local flywheel now. Windows OS, database and filesystem and all.
Switch to Ubuntu (Im on dual boot), install flywheel there.
Local doesnt detect the sites. So what do I do? Well… I just delete the sites and reimport them from WPengine of course.
Now what I was expecting was that the sites are going to be accessible on the Ubuntu OS only. Guess what? I switched back to windows and I opened local and clicked “Open Site” and each site works like magic.
I want to be able to simply have a feature where Local just adds a site that essentially already exists on the system.
