  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? yes, but i have sometime 502 Bad Gateway errors

  • Which version of Local is being used? 6.6.0+6231

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used? MacOS Mojave 10.14.6

    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

I’m seeing a lot of Connection type errors in the logs, and I also see that you’ve been getting random 502 errors just with regular site access.

If you’ve double-checked your network connection is solid, and other applications aren’t getting in the way, you could have a run through this help article to see if any other blockers might be causing performance troubles.
