Can you edit/ignore certain database information when pushing from Local to WPEngine?

I’ve tried before to use Local to push to WPEngine and it broke the site because it also imported things like the domain name.

Are there ways to edit/ignore certain parts of the database when pushing from Local to WPEngine?

I’m having a similar issue when pushing to WP Engine. My dev site on WP Engine is redirecting to the Local site with the .local domain. Any assistance to avoid this?

yeah me too, so far this WP Engine feature has been useless for me too many problems

same issue… after pushing to WPE… can’t login… fwd to localwp

I was able to login by:

  1. login to Wpengine.com
  2. go to problem site
  3. select PHP admin
  4. find the table “options”
  5. change 2 urls there to the site URL you are trying to login to.

Hope that helps.

Don’t see any advantage to using localwp. better to edit on staging site.
