First I have to say, I’m loving this latest incarnation of Local. Working so much better now that when I originally had tried it
Problem I have is this: I cannot connect properly to the Toolset (https://wp-types.com) site for downloads of plugins though. I suspect a problem with curl? I’m told a few other plugins have that happen as well.
If I couldn’t explain what I mean clear enough, I’ll gladly do some screencastings and even give you a license to try yourself. Let me know

One thing you can try is to go to Help » Restart Local’s Machine. This helps with outbound connectivity issues sometimes.
If that doesn’t help can you go ahead and make a screencast ?
In a pinch, you can log into your Toolset account and download the files directly. Then SFTP them into Local from your local machine.
Yes, it’s what i did, and I’ll create a blueprint from that setup.
But it’d be nice if it worked, I’m told by a few people that there are other plugins that fail because of the same problem. Hopefully there will be a fix
