Cannot import local site

Issue Summary

Like this issue I cannot import a local zipped site into local due to some unknown issue that seems to be mySQL related. Googling has proven futile so far. Any ideas?

Replication

I simply imported the zipped site. it tells me my port isn’t available and I choose “use localhost”. Then the popup seen in the link above appears.

System Details

I am running Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS, but according to the original post, the issue extends beyond OS’es.
