Cannot login

Issue Summary

I am not able to login to localwp. I initially connected my google account, changed my password on localwp. Then disconnect from google once I could not login to localwp. Still I cannot login to localwp.

I get this error
“Failed to obtain access token
Whoops!
We encountered an error while trying to log you in.
Please close this page and try again.”

I see this in the logs, my company operates a network endpoint from Symantec, it could be blocking the issuer certificate.

Can you provide issuer certificate through this forum? Perhaps I can add it onto my files.

Checked logs
Turned off company VPN
change browser from preferences, tried Edge, Firefox & Chrome - none work

Replication

open localwp
click on sign in
try to sign in
it will launch browser and login to localwp website
and show error

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Windows 10

Is your goal to reconnect to Local using your Google Account or to just log in directly with your email address?

Have you tried the “email me a link” option?
